Jon Pollock
Vice President and General Manager, Digital Imaging
Jon Pollock is responsible for Polaroid’s global digital imaging products, which includes digital still cameras and digital picture frames as well as mobile, home and office printing. Pollock oversees all global product planning and development efforts for digital imaging products.
Pollock spent the previous 10-plus years working for industry-leading high-tech companies like Dell, Intel and Novell, focused on defining and launching high-tech products for both the direct and indirect channels. Prior to joining Polaroid, Pollock spent more than six years at Dell Corporation where he held several senior level positions, including the areas of product management, marketing and sales.
Pollock received his M.B.A. with an emphasis in marketing at Brigham Young University in 1997 and his Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in International Relations at BYU in 1995.
Jim Alviani
Director of Business Development
Jim Alviani is responsible for business development of Polaroid’s mobile, home and office printing. Alviani is working to establish new channels of distribution for Polaroid PoGo™ in the mobile industry and to develop partnerships with equipment manufacturers to create optimized printing solutions.
Alviani has more than 15 years of printing industry experience from IBM and Lexmark where he held several product management, marketing and sales leadership positions. Alviani helped oversee the transitional spin-off of the IBM printer division into Lexmark, which ultimately led to the company’s expansion into retailing inkjet printers.
Alviani received his B.A. in finance from California State University at Northridge.
Philippe Kalmbach
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Digital Business
Philippe Kalmbach is responsible for Polaroid’s digital imaging products worldwide, including the global launch of Polaroid PoGo™ products in retail channels. Kalmbach brings more than 15 years of experience in the printing and photo markets, including launching Kodak and Lexmark’s overall inkjet business in Europe. While at Kodak EAMER, Kalmbach served as head of Digital Business and the Marketing Center for the European region.
Previous to his work at Kodak, Kalmbach held several positions at Lexmark including director of services, country manager Consumer Division Germany and area sales manager. Kalmbach also is a founding member of the Advisory Board of CMO Council™ Europe.
Kalmbach received his Masters degree in business from ESC Amiens and has attended executive programs at Insead.
